Rooms |
Double Room with en-suite shower. On the ground floor is our Courtyard room. With a very comfortable double bed and en-suite shower room, a Colour TV with a free-to-air digital box, a hairdryer, a small fridge and an iron and ironing board, it is very well equipped! Independent of the main house, it is totally private and guests staying in this room are welcome to come and go as they please during their visit. An ideal room for a holiday or shorter stay!
Double /Twin room with private bathroom. On the first floor is a spacious double/twin room with adjoining bathroom. It has a Colour TV with a DVD player, iron and ironing board and tea and coffee tray. This room can also be made up as a triple or family room (to sleep 4).
Family Suite. We have a family suite (to sleep up to 6), consisting of 2 rooms, which share a private bathroom. The 2 bedrooms can be made up as one double and one twin or as a family room for 4 and a double room. If you are coming with friends and don’t mind sharing a bathroom then the suite can be made up with 2 double rooms.
Guest Lounge. There is a comfortable guest lounge, where we serve complementary tea or coffee to guests on arrival. The guest lounge has a Colour TV with free to air channels, DVD player and video. Dvd’s and Videos are available for guest to borrow and so is a box of Toys for under 5’s. In the winter the wood burning stove makes a sung haven for guests. It is just downstairs from the Family room and so very convenient for guest with children.
Breakfast. We serve a full English Breakfast or lighter alternative in our period dining room, complete with beams and "inglenook" fireplace. In summer, on a sunny morning, we serve breakfast on the patio, so guests can enjoy our peaceful garden, which we open to the public each year, along with others in the village, in aid of The Red Cross. If guests would prefer toast and cereals for the morning, in their room, this can be arranged.
Parking. We have plenty of off road parking and secure garaging for motorcycles.
Dogs. Well-behaved dogs are very welcome! We have a very friendly Rough Collie ourselves, who loves the attention he receives from guests!
Lifts/Taxi/Airport Runs. We are very happy to give guests lifts to and from venues at a very reasonable rate, including collections after midnight (6 seater available). We can also collect and take guests to Railway Stations and Airports.
