In an elevated position and located within an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’, Oaklands is blessed with stunning uninterrupted views to the sea and over the surrounding countryside, and yet is only just over a mile from Rye.
Oaklands is set within the seclusion of its own large garden, which is surrounded by fields and open countryside. There are several spots around the garden where guests can relax in the peace and quiet of the countryside or, for the more energetic, a game of croquet might appeal.
There is a barbecue area that guests are welcome to use and utensils, plates etc can be loaned.

By road:
From Rye, take the B2089 to Udimore, Broad Oak and Battle. Continue on this road until you enter open countryside. The drive to Oaklands will be found in about 1.3 miles set off the road on your right, just past the Fire Beacon.
From the crossroads at Broad Oak, proceed in an easterly direction on the B2089 towards Rye for just over 5 miles and the drive to Oaklands will be found on the left.
