| Plasnewydd is a charming welsh family Visit Wales and Visit Britain 4 Star Bed and Breakfast with Welcome Host Gold Award also Visit Wales Walkers and Cyclists Welcome Scheme Award. Plasnewydd has been restored to a comfortable standard, yet retaining the character of the period property built for the family in 1911. The b&b is quietly located at Llanwrtyd Wells (The Smallest Town in Great Britain) within easy walking distance of all amenities which includes restaurants of high standard, pubs and shops.
It is a paradise for outdoor activities including mountain biking, cycling, walking, bird watching, horse riding or golfing. The B&B is a superb base to explore the beauty of Powys, Mid Wales and visit its many attractions, it is also the perfect choice for exploring the length and breadth of Wales. It is within easy reach of the wonderful beaches of west Wales. |

| Rooms |
| All bedrooms are carefully furnished and decorated with attention given to detail. Included are beverage trays, - with Welsh Cakes or Bara Brith daily, wash hand basins, robes - toiletries, tissues.
Thermostatically controlled heating, clock radios, hair dryers and playing cards. If you should require a snack an honesty basket is provided. As a guest recently quoted "No detail has been overlooked". Come and indulge in delicious traditional welsh fare. We are renowned for our hearty breakfasts using local produce wherever possible.
I am pleased to prepare vegetarian and special diets with prior notice.
Guests have exclusive use of the comfortably furnished lounge, sit back, relax and enjoy our selection of books and magazines, watch the television or choose a film to watch on the DVD Player.
A secure lock-up shed is provided for storing your bikes together with washing facilities for those muddy clothes, boots and bikes. |

Llanwrtyd Wells is located in Powys, Mid Wales, UK, on the A483 between Builth Wells and Llandovery.
At Llanwrtyd Wells.
To find Plasnewydd driving in a westerly direction from Builth Wells, at the town centre, take the turning on your left immediately after the Spar shop and follow the road straight up ahead for 250yards. Plasnewydd B&B is the large Edwardian red brick house on your left hand side.
From the Severn Bridge leave the A40 either after Crickhowell and take the A479 joining the A470, or at Brecon take the A470, both joining the A483 at Builth Wells. From the North pick up the A483 from Chester.
From the East take the A44 from Worcester, A481 to Builth Wells and the A483 to Llanwrtyd Wells.
From the A40 at Llandovery, take the A483, drive 12 miles north to Llanwrtyd Wells.
At Llanwrtyd Wells. To find Plasnewydd after travelling over the bridge from Llandovery, at the town centre, take the turning on your right immediately before the Spar shop and follow the road straight up ahead for 250yards. Plasnewydd B&B is the large Edwardian red brick house on your left hand side.
Llanwrtyd Wells is approximately a 1.5 hours drive from the Severn Bridge.
TRAVEL DIRECTIONS – BY RAIL
Llanwrtyd Wells is served by the Heart of Wales railway line which runs along the scenic route from Shrewsbury to Swansea.
Directions to Plasnewydd B&B On leaving the railway station turn left and walk straight ahead for approximately 150 yards, after passing Lasswade Country House, to find Plasnewydd take the first turning on your right hand side, 20 yards ahead is our holiday accommodation.
